I was also trying to work out how I’m going to record the really fast synth parts, but I think I’ve got that part figured out now. will probably be enough.Īlso it may be a good idea to select the MDEC filter too. The arrangement for this one is coming along nicely, but this track has a lot of weird noises in it, so I’ve been looking around for some things I can use to reproduce them. Select ARB shader effect and choose Maximum effect.įlicker border fix is used to remove buggy pixels at the edges, setting it to 1. Ban the consistent emulator that will never change in speed or game state, allow an emulator. Championship Motocross 2001 Ricky Carmichael, Chrono Cross. Also, lolchronocross disallowing PSTV and yet allowing ePSXe. Maybe "ignore small framebuffer moves" in special game fixes. PSX games also run better & faster via ISO, as opposed to playing them via a CD-ROM drive. Select "use FPS limit" and set it to 60 for an NTSC game, or 50 for PAL. ePSXe includes some low latency modes, 'low' and 'very low' reduces the sound buffer in order to get a lower audio latency but requiring more cpu. Select "use pixel shader for "PSX texture window emulation" By default epsxe uses a big audio buffer which provides more framerate and average speed emulation, but it can add extra audio latency. Try enabling the 'Odd/even bit hack' in the 'Special game fixes' section of Pete's OpenGL Plugin (you may hear this is only needed for ePSXe 1.5.2 and earlier, this is incorrect) and type in the '-noauto' command line switch into the ePSXe shortcut (or the 'Cmd line' part if you're using ePSXeCutor like me) just after the path to the ePSXe excutable file. I recommend the ARB program on max effect.

The downside is that you can't use AA, but there's shaders to compensate for that. This plugin displays more in-game effects and runs smooth on Radeons compared to normal opengl/direct3d. You should also use Pete's Opengl2 plugin, since you're the lucky owner of a Radeon. Green lines means you may have anistropic filtering enabled, the setting won't work in PSX emulators.

Is it possible to get that working on my system:Ĭan someone post the best configurations to run the damn game(dont tell me to buy PSX I already have one.I want to play it on the pc.) Korigama said: Chrono Cross is Mitsudas best soundtrack overall, with the battle theme being the only weak track.
